The Clermont Established in 1920, the Clermont l’Hérault cooperative mill is the focal point of the Herault olive oil production where the majority of the harvest is drained. At the centre of the olive basin the mill combines traditional methods and modern equipment in the work-shops where the principals of elaborating different types of oil work in harmony with the knowledge of the technicians of the extraordinary flavours of the local olives.
Amellau, Clermontaise, Ménudal, Mouflal, Olivière, Pichotine, Rougette of Herault and of course Lucques: better olives of tables in green, pearl of Languedoc of origin of the basin of Lodévois. These professional producers are proud of their work and assert their spirit of development and rigour in order to provide the best regional olive oil. In particular the Open competition of Paris.
Clermont l'Hérault's pure French olive oil combines authenticity, traceability and superb quality.
Year after year their work is recognised and awarded with different medals and prizes from both regional and national competitions. For the year 2001 edition, on the Concours Général Agricole in Paris (where the gold medal was won in 1994, 95, 96, 1998, 99 and 2000) the cooperative mill with its over 3800 producers of olive oil, the flagship of the local agricultural production, again received awards.
